The self-contained accommodation comprises an en-suite bedroom, a living room, kitchen/diner, downstairs shower & toilet room and has double glazed windows throughout.

A private front door opens into the entrance hall, at the front of the house is the kitchen and dining area which looks out onto the front garden, down to the harbour, and out to the Minch. An extensive range of kitchen facilities - include a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave and washing machine / tumble dryer, table and chairs, pots, pans, dishes cutlery etc. - are provided for your use.

At the rear of the entrance hall you will find the living room, which enjoys views of the back garden and Ronay. Comfortably furninshed, it has a TV, DVD player, VHS player, stereo, iPod docking station and a selection of local interest books, maps and film. There is a welcome folder which also includes local information including shop opening times, eating places, church services and much more.

There is a shower room, including a toilet, adjoining the living room.

A utility room containing a washing machine and tumble dryer is accessible from the entrance hall.

The en-suite bedroom is situated upstairs, with views overlooking the harbour and out towards the Minch. You may choose to have twin beds or a double bed - to avoid disappointment please remember to specify your preference in your booking form. A cot and highchair can be provided on request, as can a z-bed.

Glendale is not only situated in a very scenic area of the Uists, it also boasts its own award-winning garden. A table and benches are provided to enable you to relax and enjoy the beauty of the garden.

A pay phone is provided for the use of guests and there is plenty parking available in Glendale’s car park.
Up to 100MB of complementary Wi-Fi is available daily, to enable you to keep in touch, should you want to!
